If you want to have a terrifying mask on Halloween, this article is just for you. It’s a simple and easy-to-achieve mask but so SO creepy and scary. Let me walk you through the steps.
Step #1
The first step is to apply just a little bit of scar wax to create the same nose as possible or make it longer. But, this is optional. I have a short nose, so I wanted to make it longer. You can skip this step if you don’t have scar wax.
Step #2
The next step is to paint your face white, avoiding the eye area and the lips. You can use any white face paint you have. Extra tip. If you want to cover the eyebrows for better application, use a glue stick or a little bit of scar wax. That will create a layer over the eyebrows, and they will wholly be covered.
Step #3
After the white paint:
- Use black color on the empty areas or the eyes and lips, just like in the pictures.
- After you apply the paint and it dries out, take a black eyeshadow and blend the edges.
- Don’t worry about messing it up; it doesn’t have to be perfect.
It has to be messy and dirty-looking.
Step #4
The next step is to make the face dirty-looking and scary. So, there are few ways to do it. First, you can take a toothbrush you don’t use and dip it in black paint. But just a little bit, don’t apply too much. You can spray that on the face to create small dots all over the face. You can also do that with a brush by drawing tiny dots everywhere if you are unsure how to use a toothbrush. Except for the dots, there are also gray contour lines. I used gray eyeshadow and applied it under the cheeks ( like I do my contour ), on the nose sides, on my smile lines, and under the eyes.
Step #5
After the face is messy and dirty, the last step is to draw black/gray lines around the eyes, just like n the picture. Use a small defined brush to achieve the thin-looking curvy lines.
To finish the mask, you need white material to go on your forehead and neck and long black material to go over your head, just like a Nun. Also, you can apply paint to your teeth to make them scarier. You can use colors that are safe to use.
